Located on the shores of Norfolk Bay our farm at Saltwater River enjoys long hours of sunshine and cool summer temperatures, moderated by the sea. Our family run vineyard occupies a sun drenched western slope of the farm.
Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay and Gamay are currently in production, the wine-making specifically tailored to express the complexities of the site.

2020 Pinot Gris: This medium bodied Pinot Gris has true presence. Guided by nashi pear and red delicious apple on the nose the wine is balanced by citrus like acidity and a pure minerality. The wine fills the palate expressing unmistakable Pinot Gris characters. I love to serve this with local line caught flathead, roasted whole with a simple garden salad.

2019 Pinot Noir: Aromas of red cherry and baking spices are backed up by subtle hints of mint and red berries. On the palate the sweet fruit is perfectly balanced by savoury tannins and the subtle use of stems during fermentation. Eleven months in old French oak.
